Goals of this Course

Put your creativity to work as you use earthenware clay to learn techniques for constructing functional ceramic pieces – such as bowls, lidded containers and vases. Also learn a variety of techniques for decorating clay surfaces, as well as ways to work with color to enhance your pieces with glazes. More advanced students will be accommodated through individualized instruction. 

Required supplies for class:

• Clay and glazes ARE INCLUDED. You will pay $.04 a cubic inch for any pottery you choose to fire
• Tools are provided
• YOU BRING: Plastic grocery or dry cleaning rags, sketchbook (or paper and pencil)
